Starbucks Celebrates 40 Years With Free Desserts

In celebration of their 40 years, Starbucks is giving away free Starbucks Petites, upon purchase of a drink. On March 10, 11, 12  from 2-5 pm, local time, customers who purchase their favorite beverage can enjoy free Starbucks Petites, the less than 200 calorie dessert line from Starbucks. This is valid in participating locations in the US and Canada. Please note, you have to buy a drink to get the dessert.

Got Paid To Shop At Target

Target has a deal out for this week, buy 3 Aveeno products, get a $5 Target giftcard free. It's a good deal in itself but my free Aveeno lotion coupon made it even better. Here's what I got:

I used the free Aveeno lotion coupon ($9.29), $1.00 Excedrin coupon, 2 Target Aveeno coupons, and a $3.00 Target Excedrin coupon. I paid $4.16 and got a $5.00 giftcard back. Since I paid with a giftcard I got from a previous ad's deal, I did not pay anything out of pocket.

Facing Ali - Free Screening On March 17

The Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton will have a film screening of the documentary "Facing Ali" on March 17. This documentary recounts Ali's journey as seen through the eyes of those who have fought against him. Ten of his former rivals weigh in and pay tribute to "The Greatest".

The Firehouse Arts Center is at 4444 Railroad St. Doors open at 6:15pm, film screens at 7pm. No reservations, no tickets as seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is available in the Firehouse lot located off Spring St.
